Scrybe Pen

The SCRYBE BOLT 8-in-1 Multi-Tool Pen features a ballpoint pen with a satisfying, bolt-action deployment and easily replaceable D1 ink cartridges. The anodized aluminium body is rugged, feels great in the hand and features etched imperial and metric rulers and a bubble level. Underneath a removable end cap, there is a micro screwdriver bit holder and a reversible bit with flat head and Phillips ends. The removable cap features a tungsten steel tip that is sharp enough to scribe wood and metals, protrudes enough to tear box tape to open packages, and is tough enough to break glass for true emergencies. Operation

Deploying the Pen
Use the thumb stud to push the bolt forward and to the side to lock it in place. Push it back down and to the other side to retract the pen.

Using the Screwdriver
Pull off the cover cap at the opposite end from the pen tip to expose the double-sided screwdriver bit. Pull the bit out and flip it around to use the change the driver end.

Changing the Pocket Clip Position
The pocket clip may be rotated to three different positions. To change the position, unscrew the bit driver with a 4mm or 5/32" hex wrench. Remove the ring and rotate the pocket clip to the desired position. Reinstall the ring and bit driver. If necessary, use a drop of medium strength thread locker on the bit driver.

Replacing the Ink Cartridge
The pen uses standard D1 size ink refills. To replace the ink cartridge, twist the pen tip counterclockwise and remove. Slide the ink cartridge out of the pen body and remove the spring. If the new cartridge does not include a black end cap, remove the cap from the old cartridge and place it on the new one. Reinstall the cartridge and spring into the pen body and reinstall the pen tip.
